Christmas Recap!
Christmas Day in our house was great - we had brunch with my family and then a very relaxing afternoon.
The kids got spoilt rotten by family and Santa!
They also got a wonderful surprise from their Great Grandmother - Each great grandchild received $3000.00 towards there education!
OMG we were all surprised (my couisns and aunt!) no one knew a thing about it !
We are going to get Courtney a laptop for high school and then she can save the rest of it! - Liams will go onto long term savings until he is at high school and then we can see what he needs.
Hubby and I decided not to buy each other presents this year as we both need new clothes so off to the shops I went on boxing day.
But alas nothing was to be found - I think the few extra kilos I have manged to put on this month have affected the way that the clothese sit and so depressed me more!
So .................... what am I gonna do about it you asked!
Well I am gonna sort my shite out - thats what!
I have been eating well for the last couple of days and also excercising so I am back on track!
On a side note - I was tidying up the computer at home and found the Simply Too Good Too Be True 28 Day program that I signed up for in June 2009 - and never followed!
So I am going to review it each day and post my results from it on her e- I won't count calories - but will continue to follow the weight watchers program.

Reflections and Goals
2010 Reflections:
As the Year nears its end, it is time to reflect on my achievements for 2010:
I have managed to finish 2010 lighter than I started it.
I have begun training for two duathalons.
I now own a bike and use it regularly.
I have begun attending Aqua Aerobics classes
I have weaned myself off watching TV in my spare time and have only got 2 shows that I set the time aside to watch per week.
My Dancing has improved in both styling and spinning!
I have continued to grow my friendships and wean those that were not productive for me.
I have helped raise two beautiful children, with one of them becoming a teenager this year.
I am slowly getting better with my management of money
2011 Goals:
To loose at least 20 kgs this year:
(I hope to try and maintain a 3kg loss per month which will more than blitz this goal)
I will continue with my training for the two duathalons (February and April)
I will include bike riding into my exercise routine
For the remainder of the summer months I will continue to attend Aqua Aerobic classes.
I will keep on top of my scrapbooking by completing at least one page per week
I will work through the items on my 43 things to do before I turn 43 list.
I will improve my money management and reduce my debt considerably!
I will continue to improve my life balance and remove “clutter” from my life in all aspects.
I will continue to help grow two unique individuals with my loving husband and teach them values that will serve them well in the years to come.

When Enough is Enough!
I had another gain at weigh in this week and it was to be expected as my eating this week has not been the best!
Why did I do that after an amazing effort the week before to loose 3kgs in one week! (mind you I put on 2kgs the week before that!)
This yo yoing is doing my head in - I just need to be consistent with my efforts - one foot after another so to speak!
I need to go back and re read all my posts from Craig Harper - he makes sense!
I have to make this journey my own and make it achieveable day in and day out!
It can't be too hard or it won't work - it can't be to easy or it wont' work
It needs to be just right for me to succeed in this journey.
So now is the time for me to refocus and get it working for me instead of against me!
So the plan for the remainder of the month is to track and excercise!
Simple as that!
Success will come with that simple formula!

3. Swim 4 times this month (Part of the 43 List)

I think with the busy month ahead I should be able to complete all of these things without causing too much stress -
Lets hope Number 1 co-operates this month!
